does the cage make a lot of difference in driving?

Yeah it's pretty noticeable.
I had -1,20 degrees toe out after installing the shorter steering knuckles.
With the cage in, the chassis would not flex in the turns and my tires would just scream in every turn at 50km/u and above.

Did an alignment today (-0,20 toe out) and it's all fine.
Smoked a golf gti too..haha. Though I actually hate sprints.

Randy, you won't believe it, but I actually installed the whole cage by myself!
Hahaha, it was a hell of a job. Luckily I could work inside at my local garage, it was 30C hot weather outside!


And the tyres on the fixie are Continental ultra. I hate the super soft sidewalls they have.

Yes, but there were only two for the rear arches.

The other 4 point just with bolts and nuts.

mounted some smaller tires today:

a pair of 185/55/14

and a pair of 195/45/15

Two sets of tires should be enough for the day with 120hp..
