Where does your nickname come from?
It's always interesting to hear some background info about someone's nickname.
Sometimes it's very clearly to see (just their name or so) but sometimes the stories are quite funny Let's start.. A few years ago when i discoverd forums on the internet, i needed a nickname. Around the same time i was watching the MotoGP series. I liked Valentino Rossi's driving very much. Rossi had several nicknames, The Doctor was one of them. It sounded pretty cool to me back then, so my new nickname was born! Now, everyone 'knows" me as Doc, sometimes they even call me like that irl! I stopped watching MotoGP, but the nickname is attached to me now Envious to see some other stories "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

Where does your nickname come from?
Uhm, I used to be active in the demoscene. Mostly as a programmer. So I've been using nicknames for 15 years or so. Multiplex I got after a discussion with a girl I knew way back when. We were toying around with words and at some point we got to the word Mux. But there already were some people called Mux. In electronics Mux is short for a thing called a Multiplexer, a device that takes multiple signals and combines them to one. As I was doing something similar in hobby, taking multiple things that others from our demo group made and putting them into a single demo, hey my new nickname was born.
Mux for short, Multiplex for full. The 213 I added, no idea why I started doing that, I guess at some point I signed up somewhere where Mux was already used. 213 is my extention number at work. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Where does your nickname come from?
I used to have a Czech nickname after I returned from holiday over there. A friend of mine and I wondered what the sign "pozor" meant, after that I used that nick for a while, but more and more Czech people started to register themselves as pozor on the internet.
Then I chose banpei, which is a small robot from an anime series (Oh! My Goddess) and means something like "mr. handy". Back then my nick was unique, but nowadays not anymore. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Where does your nickname come from?
I used to go on some forums by the name of "Megatron" from Transformers. But when I was forced to open a new email account the name had already been taken. So I put in random words that came into my head and Squeejy was the first one which wasn't already taken.
Since then I've used the name Squeejy where ever I can. |

Where does your nickname come from?
I never bothered to give it that much thought...When I registered on hotmail years ago, the first name with ivan available was ivan141...so I took it.
Anyway, I think nicknames are things you should be given, so untill that day comes, ivan141 it will stay. (well actually it came a long time ago, but I wasnt the first one to register as Ivanhoe, a childhood hero from the B/W serie) FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Where does your nickname come from?
Mine is so simple. Widar's my last name, everyone call me by it since it's a real rare name here. I don't think anyone actually call me Mattias, even thou it's my first name.
