Why do you need rear coilovers?

dunno how usefull these links will be, but hey, you never know Big Grin

the greddy's have adjustable rear perches. I don't think you can put in real rear coilovers without changing the axle and stuff. The only way would be to lower the springs and have some extremely low dampers that go with the springs.

I'm no mechanic, but changing the axle would seem like changing the geometry of the car, and thus how it handles, in a very profound way (heck, I'm not even used to how my car handles in stock form Tongue)

Anyways, the first link shows the greddy type-s in pretty much detail (slightly big image, compared to most ebay listings orso), and the hachiroku link is just a nice review it seems Big Grin Good reads.

Thanks for those links, got a lot of info from that.

You don't need to change anything and the rear axle to put coilover on tho, just take away the old shock and spring and put the coilover in place.

We'll see what i decide on when the time has come, p-nut has k-sport coilovers on his drift ae86, gonna try to speak to him and see if he likes them. I also know a guy near me with Greddy coilovers on his ae86.

But thanks again for the great links Thumbs up!
