simple, can you do everything yourselve? that saves the most of money. Equipment costs depends on how "far"you go with the extra's. If you put in a 20v and hit/cut the firewall and do a simple waterline reroute you and you do all yourselve it isn't an expensive thing.
If you want the waterlne kit for the ae86 difrrent ehaders etc its an expensive thing. SO first. Will you do everything yourselve? And I would go for the option. Pick engine first. save up for the total converion. Than you have what you want.
