Enormous consumption

Well...some new simptoms...i noticed, that the cable fell off from the TPS sensor. I put it back, but the metal pin disappeared, so it comes off quite easily now...when i put the cable back, my idle was ok, the car felt fine. But on my way i assume, that it fell down again, my idle went mad, and the gas reaction became is sluggish. It's like when i step on the gas, the engine doesnt rev instatntly, but waits half a second and then go up. And the acceleration is a bit worse at low revs. Can my missing TPS signal cause that bad ass consumption?
