Great stuff mate! Can't wait to see her drive..
Wondering though, if you got all the parts out of the car and where waiting for dry weather, why not go through the extra trouble of treating stuff like the subframe members to some anti rust treatment? I would have gotten some hamerite spraypaint or POR15 and given everything a quick cleanup. As for scrapping the shell, your loss, there are plenty of guys on here that would have bought the Trueno front end off of you. It costs easily between 500 and 1000 euro's just to ship one over from the US or Japan. Lights, trim, etc would fetch a nice price to. You could have gotten a nice part of your money back. Is the shell still in a scrapyard or have they crushed the car? Would be worth the effort getting atleast all the trueno parts back.
