14" Tires ?

I use Bridgestone Turanza's, 185/60r14 sized..
They cost a bit more, but they are very good tires. Like them a lot better
than the old falken ze 512's, and they perform good in both wet and dry conditions. These are not performance tyres though... I would also advise getting a set of 15"s for those purposes, but they are more than adequate for spirited street driving.
