Hey Ian,
As the car is originally an AE85 i've retained the factory fuel tank but run an external fuel pump with surge tank. It's using the original float and is wired up to the dash however it does not read correctly. When full it reads empty, then once you do about 80-120km it will say full on the tank. However when it gets down to about 3 bars it subsequently runs out of fuel! (learn't my lesson from that) It's an issue that I have got used to however it would be interesting to see how others have tackled the problem! Otherwise, the car still retains the full original loom and ecu and it has only been mated up where needed which is great. I just need to find out how to remove the check engine light as the egr has been removed and has set the light off. Btw, Your car is truely inspirational. It was your car which made me want to own a F20C powered AE85/6 1985 Toyota Levin Hybrid F20C Conversion ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.jspecgroup.com |
