In stock form the AE86 can be a good daily driver. However if the suspension is (mildly) tuned it may become an uncomfortable car for daily use.
As for interior space: there is a bit less interior space as in the S13 and you may sit a bit more comfortable in a S13 if you are very tall (over 6 foot 10 is about the max in a hachi). Apart from that: take the hachi! It is more fun!
