The point is that they tried to split the whole NFS series into three groups: serious racing, tuner stuff, and racing on open roads. The first of the new approach is SHIFT, so how the others will be called is still a mystery (probably Carbon or Underground 6,7,8,infinity). They really made a very disappointing game for the people who like serious racing and also for the people who expected a true NFS (Carbon/Underground/etc) game.
Try this for once: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q="need+for+speed+shit" Personally I don't get why they chose the name SHIFT. They could have expected the name to be used in a different way if they couldn't live up to the expectations! BTW: the first NFS was actually a serious racing game which had, for that time, good physics and the Mazda RX7 FD... Now if they could only take that game as an aim and make something as good as that one. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
