The mounts weren't that hard to make. I used the stock mounts from the Corolla and the mount from the CA. They are pretty ugly as I haven't cleaned the welds up yet. I will try and get some pics but it was pretty easy. The shifter sits back further than stock so I had to cut some of the tranny tunnel away and of course this will now sit back by the E-brake so that will need to be modified as well.
The only thing I see that could be a problem is towards the front of the motor. The CA sits pretty high so some modifications to the hood might need to be made as well. All in all it took about a day to make the motor mounts and get it all bolted down and in the car. The wiring will take the longest to do but hopefully soon I can start the motor up. The Advans are 4x114 and 3pc. 13x6 with a pretty low offset. The Ronal Postert's (turbos) are also 4x114. |
