It doesn't put more stress on the car. A lot of people say that, but that's just rubbish. What matters is how far the wheels are sticking out the car. Basicly a rim with ET 50 has the same effect as a ET 20 rim with a 30mm spacer.

The disadvantage of a spacer is that it may feel a bit loose/shaky at higher speeds. Beauty of the T3 piece is that you bolt it on both sides so it should be solid. If I can not get good rims then I'm going for these T3 spacers with a 4x100 pattern.
