Your cam bearings look ok,
I´ve got a few deeper scratches on my cam bearing, gave them a little wetsanding, checked the clearance, all good! If I were you I´d take the valves (good tools are expensive), and valve steam seals out (cheap tool around 30€). Get the head to a engine shop the get the head shimmed, and if you got 50€ left get the valves and valve seats machined, after that the put the head into the huge washing machine and it will come out like new. I´d clean the block surface with a scraper sand paper. 1979 Toyota Corolla KE35 1983 Toyota Corolla AE86 1985 Toyota Corolla AE86 |
