I had the same problem and bought some sh** ebay pistons from the US, 70€ the lot O/S 18mm wrist pin. Still holding together and my engine gets "used" once its reached operating temperature.

They are not premium products, but do the job and are a lot cheaper than genuine Toyota ones. I also thought about forged pistons, Wiseco was the only brand I could find with 18mm pin, they were even a little cheaper than the genuine Toyota pistons 1979 Toyota Corolla KE35 1983 Toyota Corolla AE86 1985 Toyota Corolla AE86 |
