Yes you can lose few HP if the pump have lost a lot of flow.
For 200hp I would upgrade the fuel pump, especially if it a 27 years old pump The easy rule to size your fuel pump: Flow of your injectors x number of cylinders x 0.06 (0.06 -> x60: minute to hour, /1000: cc to liter) Exemple for a blacktop: 295cc @ 3bar 295 x 4 x 0.06 = 70.8 l/h So the minimum flow of your fuel pump should be 71l/h @ 3bar (Personally I prefer to add 20 to 30% to this number as a safe margin) |
