Alas, the engine does not seem to be complete...the fuel distributor of the mechanical injection system seems to be missing....
That means we'll have to run the EFI head from the beginning. And if we're doing that we might as well add the intercooler and larger turbo at the same time. Saves us the trouble of redoing all the plumbing in the future and redoing the map.
The block will be run by a megasquirt2 ECU that will normally controll the 20V in the KE25. Just unplug, upload new map and we're ready for a track day.
It will be fun to see how much power this thing will produce. My guess is we'll break the 200hp barrier easily. Not bad for this cheap a project, costs so far:
150E for the engine inc new belts, plugwires, distribution cap, clutch etc and a shitload of misc. parts.
300E for the Megasquirt2 inc. wires, EDIS etc. (but we need that for the KE-25, so it doesn't really count..
40E for the intercooler.
