Buying a European 86 for the UK
I have been away from the forum for a while, and couldnt find an answer to this via the search, but if there is already a thread, please direct me.
It looks like I will be trying for an EU 86 and shipping it to the UK (for a number of reasons, including cost and availability!) I know we are all one big happy borderless family these days but does anyone know of anything I should know before heading down this route? When it comes to the car itself, I am happy I know enough to understand if I am buying a load of trouble, but my main concern is any legal or hidden pitfalls I might encounter. This is all very premature as I am not ready to buy yet (unless someone wants a 2006 Fiesta in part ex!) Thanks for any info you might pass on Terry still no 86 ________________________ |
