I whouldn´t use it cause wires might not be big enough!
What I whould do is run the permanent life of the battery to your relay to the main circut, that is triggered by the switch, that way your fan whould still keep running even with the ignition switched off. In adition to this I´d still put it on an interieur switch, so you can switch it on/ off if you wish to
