But if you´r worried use the ign 12V from the free plug for the trigger circut, that way it will still work as above, but only if the ignition is on.

The thing is, if I connect the main power straight to the batt. it will run always with IGN OFF except if I power the relais all the time and that will finally end up with a flat battery.
If relais is not powered during IGN OFF, contact will be closed and the fan will run all the time.
Another option is to use two relais than (1 NC, 1NO) but I prefer not to... for no real reason I just don't like it.
