I'm very angry because my new service manual is worth nothing when it comes to ae86 ...
... going back to topic: When You get acquainted with this specification here: http://www.aeu86.org/index/technical-ae8...topic=4815 We have: Kerb weight: 950 kg (coupe), 970 kg (hatchback) but weight distribution is constant here 53:47 (%) front:rear and it seems to me that there should be some difference. Maybe small but I'd like to know that. 1 more I think that this weight is not exact. I reached for two different road tests, both from 1984 and both involving the 3-door version of Levin. Based on them the weight of car with all liquids except for fuel is 940,2 kg I assume the weight of a full tank is ~37.4 kg so kerb weight should be 977.6 kg. What do you think about this ? Do You have any historical journal with 2-doors Levin version road tests ? And both Trueno variants ? |
