considering you're driving stretched tires and plan to do so in the future...

I had and will have 205 on 8" again and never had the slightest problem - for drifting a 195 will do on the rear just as well.

How do you figure I plan to do so in the future?

215/580R15 Hoozier slick is 7-9 inch.

225/580R15 Avon slick is 8-9 inch

A 9 inch rim fits perfectly with the size I intend to run...
