you should be able to find 10w-40 that is in the same temp range than the 20w40 but with better properties during cold.

That chart is now very old.
Do not use motorcycle oils, they have a slip agent because most motorcycles have their clutch lubricated by the engine oil ( unlike cars that run a dry clutch system)
