Logitech Driving force Pro is F U N!
Hi there, in 3 days, my girly is getting me one of those steering wheels.
I already had the package delivered to my house, and offcourse had to test it briefly (30 min ) for waranty issues. First I started off with Gran Turismo 3 a spec. Spent some time spinning out after every attempt to drift. 1. car starts sliding 2. counter-steer + nearly every move you can make with the accellerator 3. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIH! -> spin out/crash 4. got nowhere trying to do that. After spending 10 min crashing, i decided that i should try my GT4 - Bmw demo. Started on the Nordschleiffe. First corner, YES, YES! this is how it should be! 1. car starts sliding 2. counter-steer + some messing with the accellerator 3. Drifting.............. 4. Big smile! Completely different feel when you got 900 degrees of freedom. That's the major problem of (almost?) all those other wheels. They got only 200 degrees or motion, which is realy realy pathetic once you tried 900 degrees. It actualy kinda reminded me of the real thing. This guy is a happy one for probably the next couple of months. Specialy when the new GT4 enters stores/the internet Now i'm only looking for more games that support the 900 degrees function. Should give LFS (Live For Speed) another try on my PC. Heard they got their physic models nearly perfect. Life is good! |
