Valve clearance
Hi again, im still rebuilding engine. Today building head i realised the gap on the exhoust side between cam followers and cam is a lot less than optimal size.
Tech data says 0.30 to 0.40 gap but mine has hardy 0.15 Valve shims on toyota oe is almost 10€ each. Any idea of another place to buy it? Long time ago a friend of mine grind its peugeot engine ones with sand paper but these was much smaller than toyota ones and i guess it will not seat propely on the follower. Cheers |
