What shakotan does to your car!

Not an AE86 (actually a Mazda Luce Legato), but it clearly shows what shakotan (extreme lowering) does to your car after a few years:

Both chassis rails have been shaved off and are cracked open, front subframe has been scraped for at least two to three millimeters and the front lower control arms show thinned metal around their pivot points!

I think they are lucky with no salt on the roads during wintertime in Japan.
