This time I've got most of the satin black paint done, in this case its the mirrors, bumpers, spoiler and grill. I also have the interior and chassis completed. The next update will be a big one because I think I'll have the whole car done soon, then I have plans to maybe build a model of the real 86 that I used to own. In these photos, the colour of the interior looks a little off, but it was painted to match the brown/beige colours of a real gold car and photos are just crap.
I need to learn to take better photos, I'll try to get some good photos when the car is finished. I've learned a lot from building this model, here's some advice for anyone who wants to build one of these kits. There's many small and extremely fragile components, so in order to have a few spare parts, buy yourself one of these: The embarrassment of buying a crap model kit is worth it when you break a wiper arm, or lose a mirror and need to take them from that itasha kit that you don't intend to build. |
