RE: Banpei's new TA60 family cruiser
Today I attacked two pain points on the Carina:
1. moldy fuel lines 2. Rear seatbelt half melted This is what I found near the end of last years under the bonnet: Today I finally had some time to do stuff with the Carina, so I bought some new fuel lines and replaced all of them. Stupid me forgot his phone so no pictures of them replaced. Just trust me, it looks a whole lot better. Another eyesore was that someone welding up the Carina torched one of the rear seat belts to death. The belt was fixed, but the buckle was still half molten. Every time I would get the car pass MOT I would get an advisory to replace the seat belt. Bozu sold his old rear seat belts for the 3 door AE86 and I replaced the molten one. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
