Time to revive this thread from the dead...
I received the phone number of the SR guy, but he never replied back. However this popped up on Ebay last week: A Swiss Corolla brochure containing the SR coupe!  From the EPC I found out the SR was available in Switzerland between August 1983 and January 1985. And the Swiss GTi was available from February 1985 till July 1986. The brochure is (presumably) dated February 1984 and the other brochure I own that is dated March 1985 and this is the pre-facelift brochure.
