(Voll and Schwann being 2 of them doing Toyota's). I had a Voll AA63 Celica once. Decent build cars.Confirmed that it has been converted by Voll I found a German article with the story behind the two companies. HP Schwan (located in Würzburg) actually developed/designed the cabriolet initially, but Voll Karroseriebau (also located in Würzburg) built them. Some sources say Schwan went bankrupt and Voll took over the company. After the A60 series Voll also did the T16 officially via Toyota. Voll went bankrupt early 1990s after the T16 got replaced by the T18. Voll also built Opel Ascona cabriolets but that stopped around 1988 and there was no direct replacement. Quite an interesting story... 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
