I am rebuilding my engine, once that's all done it will get a new ecu and dyno tune.
I bought some 50mm sq engineering stacks that I will modify to fit the airbox. I'm keen to see what kind of a difference the airbox setup wil make and if internal trumpets (no trumpets, 30mm or 50mm) make a big difference. I found this writeup by Mekaru (who make a box that's a bit bigger than NOBY BOOTH, but at a much much higher price) which dyno tested some stuff, mainly small trumpets and the usage of a heat shield in the form of their induction filter box. https://mekaru.jp/tesutode-ta%20AE86innd...nnBOX.html Doing experiments like this has always made me happy and I will definitely share the results. |
