Well, an AE85 is not the same as a SR5. You can find the differences on the Club4AG tech reference:

Bottom line: ae85 has a 1.5 3A-U engine while the SR5 has a 1.6 4A-C engine. The SR5 engine has a bit more horsepower than the AE85.

Most SR5s are more comfortable then the GTS: they have powersteering, electricmirrors, electricroof and some of them have airco.
In the US the SR5 was the luxury cruiser, while the GTS was the sporty version. In Japan the AE85 was just the cheap version of the AE86. The same looks, but underneath a lot cheaper.
