Kamikazee cams. Any good? Or other cam sources in Europe?
I'm considering to order a set of KK104B cams (288 with 8.2mm lift) from Tedcomponents. The price is really attracting CAD550 with shipping to Budapest for non-OEM billet cams or CAD700 for oem billets. Anybody using this brand? They have other grinds as well, but this time i'd like to use it with stock shims and springs with slightly raised compression.
I've been searching for cams for a while, but looks like TRD are not available anymore, less and less HKS types, and these are costly. Toda is in sky-high pricer range. Kent T1604 would be okay, but can't find any price about. Piper is expensive (GBP390x2 for a set), and too big for me. Catcams make cams, but I can't catch any price, and their measurement for timing and lift a little strange for me. |
