Bad/Good springs/shocks

I can say I've only driven 2 Levins in my year of hachi hunting.

The first car I drove was a UK levin - had a front sparco strut brace, koni dampers and lowered right down. Rollbars were whiteline and Tt had the lateral rod replaced - I don't know what that was. It was non-power steered too. It handled pretty well but was a little to low for the dampers I think - seemed to bounce on the rear bumpstops a lot.

The car I bought is like this suspension wise:

Front: Techno Pro spirit Coilovers with AE92 TRD inserts, Cusco adjustable top mounts/pillowballs. Cusco rollbar, poly bushes. Shell has NAMS turret/bulkhead supports and a Cusco Brace.

Rear: TRD rear 8 way adjustable shock (soft/medium clicks), unknown springs, Cusco links, rollbar and lateral rod, poly bushes. Shell has Cusco shcok tower brace and half cage.

Its stiff but not harsh. I need to check the tracking, power steering, track arms etc as its not great. I get movement in the wheel similar to a wheel balance problem. I had the wheels balanced at the weekend - its better but not gone. ???

I'd like to experience some other cars still. I have no ideas of the cars geometry settings other than I think 0 toe front and rear and a little camber.

I also don't know if I've got the bump adapters on the front struts either - need to take a look some time. Two weeks of ownership and its been a lot of fun so far.

Regards Ian.
