Those prices are on the positive side mux...
-Factory ring&pinion costs 600 euro's (!!!only the gears!!!) -TRD ring&pinion kit (maybe with bearings) costs around 370 euro's shipped from japan. -Techno pro spirits Ring and pinion costs around 330-350 euro's for a 4.7 or 4.5 ratio. wheel bearings are 100 euro's a piece from most suppliers...but they can be found for less if you're willing to import. Diff bearings will add up to about 150 euro's I think.. New factory LSD costs 7 or 800 euro's probably. So there you go...a complete new rear axle for 1000 euro's would be a bargain. Just replacing all the bearings, the ring and pinion, and putting some fresh clutches in an old lsd will amount up to about a 1000 euro's including labor. Dont be put off by the prices to much though..used lsd's can be found all over europe with a bit of effort, wheel bearings last pretty long. Only the ring and pinion gears + bearings and the clutches in the diff die pretty fast if the car was used for drifting. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
