You can say flat too. Flat black=matt svart.
I think flat is hard core hot rodding baby, yeah!

Needs a perfect panel job though. Hard to keep in shape too. Every tiny scratch, ding and spot of grease will stand out. Especially if black.
Paint will probably oxidize heavilly too and be sensitive to thinners.
Best is to paint it in a metallic, then seal it with a clear coat prepped with a flattening agent.
