Remove the rubber btw filter box and trottle body (TB). Start the warmed engine. If it keeps RPM high start closing the small front openning of the TB. It might me hot there. If the engine stops - you have no vacuum leaks, otherwise - you know what to do. If the problem is in the cold start valve - remove it and check it. It might need cleaning or Sad

( replacing. Good luck
