I think I have a good guess

[spoiler:4ce5eba085]My guess is, the 7 second lead serves 2 purposes. 1, it will make god hand believe he's already won, so he'll play more and wear his car out more, with the heave R34 the tires and brakes will wear down much quicker just like with the R32 in the second race of stage 1. 2. I think Ryousuke knows perfectly how much distance it will take Keisuki to catch up on god hand to make up for the 7 seconds distance. At the point Keisuki will meet up with god hand again, that will also be the point he can best attack and pass. If he's to early, god hand will find a way to block, if he's to late the opertunity will have passed. It'll be interesting to see if I guessed it right or totally wrong) [/spoiler:4ce5eba085]
