I wouldnt be to confident about gaining much horsepower with bluetop cams.. The timing has to be right too y'know..
Boosted cars react better to cams that have less overlap in their profiles.. NA engines do better with some overlap since that allows exhaust pulses to suck fresh fuel mixture in. Running a boosted engine on NA cams will make the fresh mixture get blown out the exhaust because the valves are still opened for a bit. Dunno how this applies to supercharged cars, but my guess is that it's not going to make much of an improvement. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
