There is a method posted on club4ag I think...you can measure the diameter of the splines on the axle or you can look at the way the steel at the end of the axle looks (one has some circular marks on it, the other doesnt.) I believe it was Migs who came up with that one, he has his own website @ http://www.dreamsofdrifting.com/ae86/axles/index.htm dunno if it's .net or .com..
Dont know how to tell the difference between the LSD's themselves though..one will work with kouki axles, the other wont..guess you need a kouki axle to be sure if you use that method.
