Okay, lets take this step by step then...
You say your fuel pump is not getting enough juice. It is directly switched by the circuit opening relay through the light blue wire. Disconnect this wire from the circuit opening relay and get cranking. If the output from the terminal you removed the wire from reads 12v on your multimeter then the problem must lie in the lightblue wire. Do remember that the fuel pump is only activated while the starter motor is turning. Remove the switch wire to the starter if you wish to test without wearing your battery down.If you dont get 12volts at the output terminal of the circuit opening relay we move on to the next bit. The circuit opening relay gets it's power from the EFI main relay (in the engine compartment I suspect). The wire between the efi main and circuit opening relay should be red-blue. Disconnect this wire from the circuit opening relay and see if there is 12 volts there (switched by ignition, so no need to turn starter on). If there isnt then we focus on the EFI main relay. This relay is switched on by the ignition through the IGN fuse. It's connected to permanent 12v through the EFI fuse with a white wire. Check the voltage. If there isnt 12v on the white wire to the EFI main relay then your main fuse is shot, if there is then the EFI relay is either faulty or not being activated. Reasons for the latter could be either a blown IGN fuse/wiring or a problem in your key cilinder. And that's all she wrote....now I need my rest. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
