Personally I wire lock my springs to their seats so they cant fall out! The wire is aircraft locking wire which is really strong and durable! (I work with aircraft so its free for me )
I have had tailor made springs for my pug 306 before and decided that 200lbs springs with +2" springs were for me (forest rallying) only to find out that the car was 'topped out' constantly! I learned my lesson then as these springs were no good to anyone so I lost £85 having them made! Spend some time on finding info such as poundage ratings etc! My corolla runs MK2 escort springs which are +2" and 175lbs rated! Standard ride height just about! Hope this helps! If I aint sideways, I aint trying hard enough!!!!!!! |
