And about chasis it's my let's say feeling.. no hard facts supporting it. Only that a lot AE82 data says 121HP stock, and AE86 what I've seen 124 HP stock .. So it might be true, and it might be wrong

yes, there is also a difeene between FWD and RWD, where the FWD usually have a bit less HP, and that I belive is not because of different pistons used. The power was a bit less beause the FWD losses less power until getting it to the wheels, unlike the RWD, so I guess that was why Toyota had the AE82's with 3hp less.
For such things, wasting few hours in front of the OEM toyota parts catalouge is very useafull, as one can see which other models shared the same part, or was this part particular for a single model.
this picture above of the 10.0:1 piston shows that they are very similar to the RED top 10.3:1 pistons, which have the dot on the side, (showing in which position the piston should be placed in the cylinder) sticking up as the highest point of the piston, while the one on the pic is actually a little hole... also the dome seems a bit lower compared to the RED top, at least from what I can see on the picture. The RED top are also ceramic coated on top, just like the GZE pistons, while the one on the pic is not! also would be interesting to se if the Blue top had 1.5,1.5,2.8mm thick rings, or 1.2,1.5,2.8 rings as the RED top?
