Uhm, Wraith, the difference of the diameter is already 2cm in favor of the 13inch wheels (80mm sidewall instead of 60mm sidewall) which will give you 8cm extra per revolution. And less wide wheels also means more fuel efficiency. You could also just have put 175-65R14 tires on your 14inch wheels and reached the same mpg. (unless your 14 inch wheels are steelies and incredibly heavy )

For 13 inch wheels? Uhm, I always personally like the stock 13 and 14 inch european wheels.
