No...exept if you have an AFM sensor.. that is just a crappy universal filter with an adapter plate so it fits to the sqaure AFM flange.

As far as the diameter of the pipe from filter/airbox to manifold is concerned: there is not much point in making it bigger than the throttle inlet is there... it is usefull to have a very big pipe for cold air intake into an airbox.
