AE85/AE86 disambiguation question
Alright, so I've found an old corolla, and I'm pretty sure it's either a AE85 or an AE86. The thing is, I've looked everywhere and I still can't get enough info to make sure which it is. I only got to look at the car for a short time, so I can't answer all questions to make sure. All know is, it was a RWD corolla, has Trueno style flip up headlights, and it doesn't have a 4AG. I was wondering if there were any American AE85s that had trueno style headlights as opposed to levin style. If not, then it might be an 86 with a different engine. Iv'e heard about another engine type for this corolla, the "20v" I think? Could it be this? Did 86s come with this motor in the US? I should have done more research....
One more thing, I've never seen the rims it had on any Corolla before, and the previous owner isn't the kind to change rims. I could describe them if it would help. |
