I have recently installed a stand alone sytem on a vauxhall engine for a westfield, it was http://www.perfectpower.com the unit was a xms-l. It's not actually on the website yet, the xms is but this is a simplier version, but will run pretty much eventhing you need. We used R1 motorbike carbs with a TPS, the good thing is you can change the type of trigger wheel in the software, not limited to a 36-1. Also you can change the angle between tdc and the sensor, so it means the sensor doesn't have to be 90 degrees before tdc. I found it very easy to us.
