There's loads of action going on in the UK, best is to check out http://www.driftworks.co.uk, they post regularly on practice dates etc. As for getting an AE86 and building it up to drift spec, just browse around here for the building up and don't get to scared of the work and money involved. Finding one is REALLY hard in the UK depending on your budget. Expect to pay well over 6000 pounds for a good car, and then you haven't started preparing her.
