Idle speed problem
I have a problem with idle speed. It is about 1800 rpm and that is a way too much, I noticed that air valve whos job is to raise idle speed when engine is cold is not working good and I put som rubber part in hole of that valve and speed fall a bit down, at about 1200 rpm but that is also too much. Becouse I "close" that valve ( under TPS ) engine revs vhen is cold at about 800 rpm but whe warm up, idle is at about 1200 rpm.
Have someone got any clue what is wrong? I know that everything is old and I suppose that maybe "round metal part on intake conected to gas pedal" is worned up and bad air is circulating near that plate.
