I used to have a Czech nickname after I returned from holiday over there. A friend of mine and I wondered what the sign "pozor" meant, after that I used that nick for a while, but more and more Czech people started to register themselves as pozor on the internet.
Then I chose banpei, which is a small robot from an anime series (Oh! My Goddess) and means something like "mr. handy".
