Yes, you can use 4A block + 4AGE head (marked area), will be good to use also 4AGE crank+flywheel+conrods+pistons.

There is a guy on the forum here from Russia if I am not mistaken who has build a 4AG by using a 4AC block with a 16 valve head. Maybe look up his thread and read what he has done to make it work

sorry for late answer, I was on vocation
I have 4a engine, my cars ex owner changed my 4a block with a new 4a block on year 1999. so I'm lucky my question is, can I change my 4a engine to 4age.. but before that transformation, i dont want throttle body, I want to use 2 webers. Which parts am I have to change, actually what am I have to do for this transformation |

2 webers=ITB style, you need at least stock 9.4CR (10-10.5 is better).
That means hi-revving engine also. IMHO buy crank, rods, pistons and head (almost whole engine) from late 4AGE engine, redtop non-TVIS. You can get also engine head from early 4AGE (bluetop TVIS) - this is good choice. You must buy also intake adapter plate (4AGE head---carburators), use low-pressure fuel pump and solve the ignition problem (either using 4K or another mechanical distributor or stock ECU which can control the ignition or aftermarket one like MjLj - MegaJolt). |
